Annual National Awards 2008
Preparations are underway for the Scheme’s 9th Annual National Awards, which will take place over two weeks in April.
This year, around 480 awards will be presented to sites selected from 6500 eligible projects. The Awards will be broken down into Gold, Silver and Bronze categories and one site will be given the ultimate accolade of Most Considerate Site 2008.

New Chairman and Board Appointments at CCS
Norman Reed has been appointed as the new chairman of the Considerate Constructors Scheme from 1 January 2008, taking over from Peter Kingdon, who completes his two-year term at the end of December 2007.

Scheme training events a huge success story
The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s training events have gone from strength to strength over the past year. Although 2007 has been something of a test bed for the Seminars and Workshops, the events have proved so successful that bookings are already being taken for 2008.

Scottish Water’s new supply project at Blair Atholl, Perthshire, has been awarded the title of the UK’s Most Considerate Site 2007 in the Considerate Constructors Scheme National Awards.

This year’s Considerate Constructors Scheme Annual Awards ceremonies took place at six venues around the country. Awards were presented at eight ceremonies to 392 of the 5226 eligible sites. This year, 43 sites won gold, 84 Silver and 186 Bronze.

CCS New Registration Record
