In 2007, the Considerate Constructors Scheme will celebrate its 10th Anniversary, and, as it looks ahead to the next 10, two substantial research initiatives have been commissioned.

The first will sponsor a piece of research to consider the building site of the future in so far as it is relevant to the aims of the Considerate Constructors Scheme. This project will involve the production of a real or virtual model of the site of the future, along with a document identifying future trends, with bursaries to be given to institutions providing relevant research.

The second initiative will involve an external review of the Scheme itself, aimed at setting the Scheme’s direction for the future and to determine any improvements and changes necessary to continue its success.

2007 will be an exciting and forward looking year for the Scheme, and one which it is hoped will provide challenges and benefits for the Scheme and the industry alike.
