Scheme training events a huge success story

The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s training events have gone from strength to strength over the past year. Although 2007 has been something of a test bed for the Seminars and Workshops, the events have proved so successful that bookings are already being taken for 2008.

Seminars and Workshops have been held right across the country, from Edinburgh to Bristol and, by the end of 2007, some 25 events will have taken place, attracting around 800 delegates. As we move into 2008, 31 training events are already scheduled with more expected.

Feedback from delegates attending the Seminars and Workshops has been extremely positive and a number of useful suggestions have arisen from discussions between the organisers, presenters and attendees. Central to these discussions has been the view that the Workshops would have more added value if the numbers attending were limited, to create a truly interactive environment. In response to this, from 2008, numbers attending Workshops will be limited to 25, providing the opportunity for delegates to discuss and receive guidance relating to their own experiences. To reflect the more bespoke nature of the Workshops, the price per delegate for 2008 will rise to £120. The attendance fee for Seminars will be £85.

Details of the dates and venues for the 2008 training events, along with a description of their content can be found on the CCS training pages of this website.
