Feedback from questionnaires issued to over 600 participants in the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s programme of Seminars and Workshops this year has confirmed high levels of satisfaction and support.
Scheme Seminars are designed to provide a general introduction to the Scheme and to give an understanding of its basic requirements, whilst the Workshops are aimed at those who already have a good understanding of the Scheme, but wish to learn how to perform beyond the Scheme’s basic requirements.
88% of Seminar delegates reported that they were well or fully satisfied with the content and delivery of the seminars with 78% of Workshop attendees reporting the same levels. In total, 86% of those questioned confirmed that they would recommend both the Seminars and the Workshops to others in the future.
The events continue to be held on nationwide basis and, since their introduction in 2006, have attracted a high level of participation. The Scheme’s General Manager, Edward Hardy, comments: “The success of these events clearly demonstrates the enthusiasm of the industry to perform to ever higher standards. We are delighted that the content of the events is so well received, and are currently planning to develop and refine the Workshops and Seminars, based upon our own observations and on suggestions from delegates.”
A full programme of Seminars and Workshops has been arranged for 2008. Further details may be obtained here or by telephoning the Scheme’s head office on 01920 485959. |
