David and Edward Hardy have been talking to representatives of the New York City Construction Congress, who are looking to set up a similar scheme in New York.

Richard Anderson, President, of the Congress, and his colleague, Stuart Pertz, visited the UK recently and attended one of the Scheme’s 2008 National Awards ceremonies, taking the opportunity to find out more about how the UK Scheme works.

The NYCC has already produced a set of draft documents, so it should not be long before considerate construction hits New York City.
