"We have always taken pride in the high standards we set in terms of health, safety and environmental performance, and in dealing with enquiries from neighbours and the general public in a fair and equitable manner.

The decision to adopt the Considerate Constructors Scheme as a company-wide requirement came about so that we could ensure these high standards are maintained and raised across all of our projects and to provide an independent verification of our performance.

It has fostered a sense of competition amongst our project managers to improve the performance of their projects still further, and it is encouraging that to date the average scores we have achieved are well in excess of the industry average.

Our performances and the scores achieved, as detailed in the monitor reports following each visit, help provide our clients and external regulators with additional confidence in the way in which we are managing our projects. The reports are also useful as evidence for external audits such as BREEAM and our own ISO14001 certified Environmental Management System.

We are proud to be at the forefront of this valuable industry initiative and in helping to improve the image of construction.

We are also proud to have achieved the Award of Most Considerate Contractor of the decade and it is a tribute to the hard work of all our project teams over the years."
